QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum 8 to 10 years experience in Business, Education, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Mgmt., Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Industrial and Organizational Psychology or related field. Experience building and managing a diversity & inclusion strategy and plans, preferably in a corporate environment. Experience working with vendors to deliver results for the business.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using a distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management and client groups to take desired action.

 
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts complex financial/business analysis including the preparation of complex reports. Prepares and manages departmental budget.

 
REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills.

 

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications. Demonstrated Project Management experience working with cross-functional teams, SMEs, and stakeholders. Ability to cross numerous organizational boundaries with the fluid ability to adapt language and styles to different audiences. Ability to research, identify, and implement best practices of diversity & inclusion, as well as demonstrate an excellent command of contemporary diversity and inclusion concepts and issues.

 
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.
