There’s always something new to build. We’re currently looking for 3D artists to join our production team and bring our clients’ visions to life.

Backed by senior CBRE executives, our small, fast-paced team is on a mission to change the space of commercial real estate through our suite of simple, intuitive client-side applications. At CBRE Build, you’ll be able to learn from the most brilliant software engineers, designers and 3D artists while tackling tough problems that will drive our technology forward.

What we work on:

Combining 3D modeling software and 2D editing programs to make interactive scenes (i.e. residential, commercial, or industrial interiors and exteriors)

Referencing client floorplan data and visual inspirations to create the very best spaces for office lobbies, luxury apartments, fitness centers, restaurants, and more

More about our team:

CBRE Build is the digital and technology arm of CBRE Group, Inc., the worldwide leader in real estate services. We are uniquely positioned within the organization to access global data, tools, resources, and leaders throughout the industry. Our mission is to create value by developing targeted, highly scalable technology platforms for internal and external consumption.

We solve complex commercial real estate problems by bringing together good people, great minds, and top tier technologies. We believe in leveraging and supporting open source projects and their broader communities whenever possible. We love Unix-based systems (we use Macs) but appreciate other flavors. We believe that personal growth is as important as Company growth, and they are interdependent.

What we’re looking for:

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Game Design, Computer Animation and Interactive Media, or related field

Minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA

Proficiency in 3D modeling and Photoshop or other 2D program

Strong understanding of how to efficiently represent objects in terms of polygon-counts and texture size

Experience creating a variety of textures that can be applied to 3D models

Ability to import and export existing 3D objects in and out of programs at the correct scale

A desire to work in a super friendly, collaborative, and transparent work environment

Bonus points for:

Familiarity with floorplans and finish/furniture schedules

Strong eye for the color and composition of 3D scenes that are designed to represent real spaces
