data-driven solutions to both internal and external stakeholders. Primarily supporting our
Advisory & Transactions Occupier business, this team is on the forefront of enabling our
professionals and clients to leverage their data with actionable insight.
CBRE Build in Seattle is a highly independent innovation team tasked with bolstering the
strategic advantage of the world’s largest commercial real estate services company through
technology.


Role:

We’re looking for a Data Analyst with 3+ years of experience to work on our Analytics
products. This person would begin immediately as a full-time employee in Seattle, WA, working
across two teams: The Analytics & Business Intelligence team located in San Diego, CA, and
the CBRE Build DataOps team in Seattle, WA.
Demand for analytics and data science continues to surge in our industry. As our team grows,
we need an innovative data analyst to help us expand the capabilities and scale of our products.
This role will include a healthy mix of client-facing work. In that capacity, the data analyst will be
confident in presenting and delivering products at a world-class service level.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide actionable insights and exploratory analyses on product improvements or strategy in the form of comprehensive reports, and communicate frequently with leadership on implementing new features or functionalities
  • Data workflow design into proprietary and third-party analytics platforms
  • Assist in the design and creation of data-driven products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related STEM field
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytics role
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated track record of presenting results to a variety of stakeholders: External Clients, Senior / Executive Leadership
  • Strong command of R or Python, SQL, and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applied experience with a data visualization tool (Tableau, Shiny, Dash, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining data workflows / ETL processes

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Applied experience with R’s Tidyverse and Shiny packages
  • Experience with any workflow design tools (such as Alteryx)
