The Director of Digital Sales is responsible for CBRE’s digital product software growth within a select region and supported by a global team of sales professionals. This role will be responsible for developing and integrating a focused sales strategy to promote, compete and drive the integration and adoption of CBRE’s proprietary suite of digital technologies both internally and externally. This role will take on new technology and products over time, eventually becoming responsible for all “Digital Sales” within a given region. This role will report directly to the Global Head of Digital Product Sales.

Manages sales activity, pursuit lists, pipelines, and follow up reporting

Prepares and responds to request for proposals from brokers

Develops and maintains external relationships with industry and market clientele to generate leads

Manages pitch activity and associated production needs

Conducts sales presentations and demos of the products alongside brokers and directly to clients

Assists brokers in identifying potential opportunities to deploy technology to clients

Prepares and presents reports on deal activity on an as needed basis

Ensures internal sales database systems are fully utilized by tracking progress and report pipeline, via Salesforce.com

Creates use cases that reflect the successful integration of our tools into CBRE’s business

Adapt to changes in the technology as well as the introduction of new, additional tech products over time

Develop a robust understanding of the market, identify customer needs, and master advanced sales techniques to build strong relationships with senior decision makers

Other duties may be assigned.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and at lease 3-5 years of related sales experience.


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. 

Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. 

Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. 

Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. 

Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.


Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. 

Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. 

Conducts basic financial analysis.


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. 

Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. 

Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.


Technically savvy with solid experience using sales database systems. 

Ability to effectively present information and demo enterprise software. 

Experience in high-intensity sales environment, the real estate industry AND/OR selling SaaS products A PLUS


Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.
