Job Summary:

 

The Experience Host is the first point of contact for the property and will serve as the face of Hana.  S/he will demonstrate Hana’s core values and strive to achieve our mission.  S/he will also support the property management team to create a welcoming and collaborative environment where our members can do their best work.  The Host will ensure that all property processes are running smoothly and fully operational.  S/he will take direction from the General Manager and Property Leads to support the team as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide a warm, friendly and professional greeting to all those who enter the property and a fond farewell upon departure, serving as the first and last point of contact for the site.
  • Cover the front desk during normal business hours.
  • Greet and check in member guests and Meet guests.
  • Greet guests who come in for tours, track walk-ins and schedule tours.
  • Distribute promotional materials to guests and prospective members.
  • Anticipate member needs and proactively offer assistance or solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Answer questions for guests, and members who “walk up” with inquiries.
  • Assist clients with arrangements for recreational, dining and business activities.
  • Solve member issues as needed including engaging necessary support from internal and external resources.
  • Work on initiatives to develop connections between members, including event support, email and print communications and introductions.
  • Assist with set up and breakdown of events.
  • Assist in ordering food and beverage for events and Meet space.
  • Prepare and distribute welcome packets for new members.
  • Assist with building operations and maintenance to ensure high level of member experience.
  • Manage key card activations for building, property, suite access when needed.
  • Assist with member mail and package distribution.
  • Identify issues for escalation to the General Manager or Hospitality Manager.
  • Respondto security and emergency situations per the building and company procedures.
  • Submit building receipts to General Manager for expense reports.
  • Responsible for some aspects of Meet Sales to include attending calls, tours, booking of meetings and coordination of services

 

 

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Customer service and/or sales experience a plus
  • Prior Front Desk, Concierge or other hospitality experience preferred
  • Tech savvy

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic and empathy
  • Strong service orientation and attention to detail
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Passion and understanding of Hana’s core values and mission
  • Sales aptitude and experience
