JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing moderate to complex general support and administrative functions by conducting research, preparing reports, and handling information requests Also responsible for performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, planning events and managing calendars/scheduling meetings.

Scope: Investment Properties service line within Capital Markets.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, conference calls, meetings and travel itineraries, and coordinates related arrangements. Develops agendas for management and/or departments.

Project manages research and marketing initiatives leveraging CBRE resources; collaborates with Capital Markets leadership, specialty groups and/or various lines of business throughout planning and implementation.

Assists in the coordination and/or implementation of marketing strategies; performs research and analysis to support those strategies.

Coordinates tracking and/or reporting of key performance indicators for business unit, including financial and other approved scorecard measures.

Identifies, coordinates and/or assists in facilitating events and other marketing efforts to build potential client relationships.

Maintains and updates marketing library of standard company boilerplate proposals, presentations, and other collateral materials; manages content of presentation material(s).

May coordinate marketing electronic campaigns and creative materials for services group(s).

Updates and maintains historical records, shared client databases and mailing lists.


Special projects as required.

Other duties may be assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 4 years related experience. 3 years preferred. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.


OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Experience with desktop, graphics and presentation software and technology preferred. Knowledge of Adobe Systems Adobe Photoshop software, HTML and/or web application software programs preferred.
