JOB SUMMARY  
Responsible for assisting in the closing of GSE's (Government Sponsored Enterprise): Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD/FHA multifamily loans. Assists the Loan Closer with the decision making process on more complex loans in determining whether due diligence items satisfy lender requirements and the eventual buyer of the loan or security backed by the loan. Assists in the determination as whether a loan has met all conditions required prior to funding, and instrumental in insuring that all requirements of loan closing and delivery have been met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Prepares loan applications and commitments as appropriate for the GSE (Government Sponsored Enterprise).

Administers the distribution of GSE (Government Sponsored Enterprise) forms to field offices as needed.

Updates weekly pricing memos and tracking for DSF field offices.

Tracks loan closings and funding within database. Updates information as needed. (Administers the CAG pipeline)

Tracks loan and commitment due dates.

Prepares loan packages (documents, policies, wire request forms, etc.) for sale of loans in the secondary market.

Orders third party reports (appraisal, environmental, environmental, seismic, flood determination, etc.).

Reviews third party reports and ensures reports are in compliance with lender requirements.

Prepares written requests for approval of insurance, and review for compliance.

Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE  
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 3 years related experience preferred.

Prior Loan Closing and/or Asset Management related experience within a title company, bank or commercial/residential mortgage banker preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES  
Salesperson or real estate brokers license preferred, but not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS  
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE  
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

REASONING ABILITY  
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES  
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Working knowledge of title insurance policies and property surveys, mortgage banking industry, with an emphasis on the loan closing and funding areas.

Commissioned Notary Public preferred.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY  
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
