Sr Marketing Specialist
We are looking for a marketing ace who’s ready to take their emerging career to the next level. Based in our Downtown Los Angeles office (but working in a remote capacity for the time being), you will work with our world-class marketing team to drive business development and regional initiatives. Looking for 3-5 years of experience in business development marketing, with a specialty in digital presentation platforms. 3-5 years of Commercial Real Estate experience is preferred.
Job Summary
Leads presentations and proposals for new business development – providing recommendations with a focus on ensuring that all materials meet established standards as to branding, messaging and win formulas.
Works on complex proposals with direct support and involvement from internal stakeholders, designers and our Senior Business Development Marketing Managers.
Brings ideas and project leadership to advance our team’s use of interactive, digital presentation platforms, often integrating CBRE’s mapping/GIS products (e.g. ESRI/ArcGIS as well as Google Maps).
Part of a larger divisional team with partners from Public Relations, Graphic Design, Research, Sales Management, and Mapping/GIS.
Essential Responsibilities
Takes a lead role in the development of presentations and proposals for new business materials to meet established branding and messaging standards.
Assists in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and performs research and analysis to support those strategies.
Works directly with commercial real estate brokers, marketing managers and graphic designers to prepare presentation and proposal materials, including writing, editing, verifying and formatting content. Ensures deadlines are met and the various aspects of proposals, presentations, and other marketing activities are accurate and concisely delivered in a timely manner.
Due to the need for speed and efficiency, when applicable the Senior Marketing Specialist will need to perform light graphic design on their own to meet deadlines; hence InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite applications experience is required.
Reviews internal and external collateral materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding, and approves materials for final distribution.
May be asked to:
Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management.
Maintain and update our marketing library of standard company boilerplate presentations, proposals and other best-in-class collateral materials.
Provide quality control for mass e-mail broadcasts, ensuring that appropriate branding, content, and formatting are used.
Other duties may be assigned.
Basic Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related degree with 3-5 years related experience. Commercial real estate experience is prefered.
Preferred Qualification/Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Graphic Design: InDesign Creative Suite experience and working knowledge required
Working knowledge of, and creative aptitude in leveraging digital presentation mediums.
Ability to excel in a team setting and to collaborate with a range of professionals
Ability to assess problems and implement solutions
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and other communications-related software programs

General Work Conditions
Remote/Office Environment: In the current COVID-19 environment, work will be performed remotely (from home). Once our DTLA office reopens, you will preferably work from the office.
Scope of Responsibility
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
