Description/Opportunity:

Global Enterprise Platforms is looking for a fun and energetic engineer who wants to work for the worlds’ largest commercial real estate company. Make an impact on both business and technology operations while delivering ServiceNow features as CBRE expands platform usage. This candidate must have experience with ServiceNow, web-based applications and technologies, possess strong communication skills, and have the desire to learn the general operations of a global D&T organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Under broad direction provide development and administration of CBRE’s global ServiceNow platform
  • Diagnose and isolate incidents through testing and work to develop workarounds and/or fixes for system related issues
  • Understand business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation
  • Analyze system processes and develop enhancements to improve user experience and general system usability
  • Work with People Operations and People Systems users to fully utilize the ServiceNow product suite
  • Analyze and validate data for successful migration between instances
  • Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and 3rd-party system (REST, SOAP, orchestration, and other relevant methodologies)
  • Develop scripts on the ServiceNow platform to automate tasks and integrations
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, clearly understand their needs and communicate the team’s roadmap
  • Advanced problem solving and deal with a variety of options in complex situations
  • Draw upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact
  • Facilitate process design sessions with People Operations and People Systems users interpreting needs and leveraging ServiceNow knowledge to deliver results


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow development, configuration, integration, and administration experience in large, complex environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with the HR Case Management ServiceNow component
  • Strong working knowledge of the following ServiceNow components:
  • IT Service Management & IT Operations Management (CMDB, Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management)
  • Hands-on experience developing and updating ServiceNow portals
  • Minimum 3+ years of development/scripting experience with HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Jelly, PowerShell, Orchestration
  • Minimum 3+ years experience with service oriented architecture design and development and web service integration (REST, SOAP)
  • Hands-on experience developing integrations between ServiceNow and other platforms (REST/SOAP, flat files, etc)
  • Proven and verifiable history of analyzing business situations and working within a group environment to provide efficient and effective solutions
  • Proven history of providing technical support during all phases of project delivery. Including, but not limited to: development of project estimates, documentation of requirements, solution design review, documentation creation and review, and peer code reviews
  • Experience in developing and implementing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • Extreme flexibility and responsiveness to changing situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with business partner
  • Well-rounded digital & technology experience, spanning application development and IT operations
